These contest rules apply to all contests conducted by New Country 103.5, CKCH-FM, Stingray Radio, on the air (phone in contests), Facebook and Twitter and/or by text message. Contests are open to all residents of Canada, with the exception of employees and immediate families of New Country 103.5, CKCH-FM, Stingray Radio and participating sponsors.
Only one winner per household allowed within any 30 day period of time on either of our two Sydney based radio stations: New Country 103.5 and Hot 101.9 for prizes valued under $500.
Winners of major prizes valued at $500 or more, must wait one year before a member of an immediate family/household can claim another major prize on New Country 1035. Those persons that are announced as winners during contest plays, but are not eligible to win, may not a collect a prize. Any prize may be returned to the prize vault at the discretion of the radio station.
By entering a contest, he/she is giving New Country 103.5, CKCH-FM, Stingray Radio consent to publicize and/or broadcast his/her name, character, likeness, or voice on-air or online.
Winners will be announced on-air.
It is the responsibility of the winner to pick up their prize or prize voucher from our studio location at 500 Kings Road, Suite 300, Sydney, Nova Scotia, within 4 weeks of winning.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and have no cash value.
Any applicable taxes and gratuities as a result of winning a prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Proper identification is required prior to receiving prize (valid driver's license, passport, or other photo ID).
New Country 103.5, CKCH-FM, Stingray Radio and participating sponsors will not be responsible or liable in any way in regards to the prize, or any aspect of the prize, not being available, due to circumstances beyond our control.
New Country 103.5, CKCH-FM, Stingray Radio and participating sponsors will not be responsible or liable in any way for any injury, of any degree, including death, to the winner and/or family members, in regards to a contest prize.
The decision of New Country 103.5, CKCH-FM, Stingray Radio in regards to the rules, and interpretations of these rules, is final.
Apple is not a sponsor and is not involved in any way in the CKCH-FM/New Country 103.5 contests posted on our website and mobile app.
